Still Wild Lines is the guidebook series published within the Still Wild Mountains project.
These books are built from repeated routes, terrain analysis, access logic, and real decision-making in the mountains.
They are designed to help people understand a region more deeply, structure their own journeys more intelligently, and move with more clarity in real conditions.
This is not route collecting.
It is working mountain knowledge.
What Makes These Guidebooks Useful
Most guidebooks are built to show where to go.
Still Wild Lines is built to help you understand how a mountain region works.
That includes:
- route descriptions
- terrain structure
- access logic
- seasonal timing
- movement strategies
- regional flow and character
The goal is not to follow pages line by line.
The goal is to build stronger judgment, better route structure, and a deeper understanding of terrain.

A growing series of backcountry guidebooks based on field exploration, route development, and long-term work in mountain regions.
Published within the Still Wild Mountains project, the series connects guidebooks, route knowledge, and real-world trip design into one working system.
The Georgia title is the foundation of the series. It grew out of years of real exploration in Gudauri, Kazbegi, and the wider Georgian mountains, where route knowledge had to be built from direct movement through terrain rather than inherited structure. This book works best for riders and teams who want a clearer understanding of access, transitions, local terrain character, and how different Georgian regions demand different planning logic.

This book brings together routes of different scale and character, with a conservative approach designed for riders who already have experience and want to understand the terrain clearly before moving through it.

A new guidebook focused on backcountry terrain, route structure, and mountain travel across selected regions of Turkey.
Still Wild Mountains is not a closed series. It is an open and growing project, with room for new regions, new voices, and new partnerships. We welcome guides, local experts, and authors who know their mountains deeply and want to help create honest, field-based guidebooks for future destinations.
If your region deserves a strong guidebook and you share the same standards of accuracy, respect for the mountains, and real experience on the ground, we would be glad to hear from you – and to help you turn your knowledge into a guidebook of your own through a partnership-based publishing model with author compensation.

A new guidebook focused on terrain, access, and expedition-style backcountry travel in the Indian Himalaya.

These guidebooks grew out of practice first – and publishing second.
